Eleven anglers from Sealine AC attended this Saturday club match on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day were very sunny, but still cold with temperatures well into single figures on account of some unexpexted snow showers! As such, the carp still appear to be showing a reluctance to feed.
Winner on the day was Gordon Tandy. Taking advantage of the bright sunshine warming the upper layers of the water, Gordon opted to fish pellet shallow at 13m to find odd carp for a final winning weight of 38-15-00.
Finishing close behind in second place was Jamie Langford. Again, like Gordon, Jamie caught fish shallow on 6mm pellet fished long at 14.5m to offer 37-10-00 to the scales.
Third place on the day was taken by Jim Webb who caught late on in the match on maggot fished down his edge to weigh in 26-15-00.
