Fifteen (15) anglers from Model AC turned up for this Sunday club match on the Island pool.
Topping the field on the day was Mick Carlow, who drew fancied peg 27 between the two islands. Starting his match fishing pellet up in the water at 13m, Mick found fish patrolling the islands before switching to his margins with casters late on to land some bonus fish and boost his final weight to 83-09-00.
John Bates finished in second place with 61-13-00. Offering 6mm banded pellet short, long at 16m and down his edge, John was able to maintain a steady catch rate for the duration of the match.
Third place was taken by Dave Dearn. Dave caught most of his fish down his inside on maggot to weigh in 45-02-00 to finish ahead of fourth placed Floyd Burnside.
Floyd caught 37-11-00 of carp from down his edge on meat.
