Ten (10) anglers attended this latest club match held on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day were a lot cooler than the previous week or so with a good amount of rain having fallen overnight. The day started off relatively cool with plenty of cloud cover coupled with a strong breeze, but the sun eventually made its presence known during the final hour or so of the match. Rally Together Fundraiser, Woodside Pool
Twelve (12) anglers attended this charitable fundraiser held in an effort to raise funds for the fishery management's daughters home ed tennis club. It was another difficult day on Woodside pool with the resident carp showing little interest in anglers baits and, instead, choosing to cruise around the lake in pairs in the upper layers enjoying the sun off their backs and likely making plans to begin spawning very shortly (if the weather continues). Bridgnorth Comrades AC, Woodside Pool
Fourteen (14) anglers from new club Bridgnorth Comrades attended their first fixture here at Woodside. Winner on a difficult day was Jeremy Williams from peg 12. Fishing pellet up in the water for most of the match saw Jeremy win the match with 20-14-00 of carp. Finishing close behind in second place was Martin Gilbert, who drew peg 20. Martin caught most of his fish from down his edge fishing pellet to weigh in 18-10-00. Third place on the day was Rob George, who drew peg 21

Bell Otters AC, Woodside Pool
Ten (10) anglers from Bell Otters AC attended this latest Saturday club match held on Woodside pool. Winner on the day was Giuseppe Ancampora, who drew peg 3. Fishing corn on both his short line and down his edge over fishery micro pellets, Giuseppe managed to find a number of decent fish as well as a handful of roach and skimmers to offer a match-winning 48-07-00 to the scales. Finishing in second place was Keith Russell, who drew peg 10 on the opposite point of the island.

A lower than anticipated turnout saw just ten (10) anglers from Wordsley Lions attend this latest Sunday club match pegged across both Woodside and Island pools. Given the low numbers, anglers had plenty of room regardless of which lake they drew, but that said, fishing on the day still proved difficult.
