Trek AC, Woodside Pool

A good turnout from Trek AC saw anglers pegged across both Woodside and Island pools. Conditions on the day were not ideal with plenty of bright sunshine but with a distinct lack of any breeze meaning the pool was very still and moody.

Winner on Woodside pool was Wayne Richardson from fancied peg 3. Wayne chose to ignore the pellet waggler and concentrated on his margins instead offering dead reds to finish the match with 111-13-00.

Lee Caffrey took runner-up spot from neighbouring peg 2 offering 73-00-00 to the scales. Again, dead red maggots accounted for most of his fish.

Bob Ginster took third place confirming a weight of 43-02-00.
