The Queen's Head AC, Island Pool

Thirteen (13) anglers from the Queen's Head attended this latest Sunday club match on Island pool.

Winner on the day was John Hickman, who drew peg 3. Fishing dead red maggot in the margin, John found quality carp in numbers to end proceedings with 93-11-00 and confirm a comfortable victory.

Pete Lunn finished runner up from neighbouring peg 4. Pete opted to start his match on the pellet waggler with 8mm banded pellet before switching to his edge late on, again with pellet, to finish the day with 71-15-00.

Third place was taken by Keith Taylor from peg 16 with 55-05-00 of carp all taken on meat.
