Maver's Dave Watson won the BLESMA West Midlands charity event here at Woodside held on Saturday 13th May.
The event, which was funded by the British Limbless Ex Serviceman's Association, saw veterans from all over the country go head to head on Woodside pool. Triple amputee, Dave Watson, drew peg 17 and opted to fish the method feeder for most of the match to find quality carp to 7lbs for a final 58-04-00. It was a superb day for all involved attended by some of the nicest people we've had the pleasure of meeting. We're looking forward to welcoming them back next year.
