Fourteen (14) anglers from Cradley Liberal Club attended this opening club match of 2018 here at Woodside.
Topping the field was Chris Whitehouse, who drew peg 3 on the point of the island. Fishing corn over pellet down his inside for most of the match, Chris found quality carp to over 13lbs to weigh in 64-08-00.
Second place was D. Johnson (jnr), who drew peg 16 on the dam wall. Again most of his fish came from down the edge to paste for a final 47-08-00.
Third place was taken by M. Richards from peg 26. Fishing pole and pellet both long and short accounted for 44lbs of mainly carp.
Rob Adams finished close behind in fourth place with 35-08-00 from peg 9 fishing corn over to the island.
