A small turnout saw just five (5) anglers from Adams AC attend this latest club match held on Woodside pool fished between 9am - 2pm. Conditions on the day were pretty miserable with a very cold start coupled with generally damp weather made things feel very Autumnal in deed. Later on in the day, the wind really got up making conditions even more uncomfortable.
Winner on a difficult day was Tony Green from peg 9. Fishing pellet long over to the island, Tony found mainly small carp with a handful of small skimmer bream to weigh in 33-01-00.
Finishing in second place was Martin Holds from peg 16 on the dam wall. Fishing a method feeder at medium range with maggot on the hook, Martin found some good-sized carp among some decent roach to weigh in 28-11-00.
Rounding off a tough but close top three was Jonathan Holyoake from peg 18. Opting to fish a method feeder short and alternating between maggot and corn hookbaits, Jon found mainly carp as well as some decent roach and perch to confirm 26-00-00.
