BBAC, Woodside Pool

Ten (10) anglers from BBAC attended this Friday match held on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day started off quite cold, but warmed up slightly as the day progressed.

Topping the ten man field on the day was Anthony Southall, who drew peg 10 on the point of the island. Starting his match fishing the long pole over to the island with pellet, Anthony found carp in numbers before moving down his edge with maggot to find some bonus edge fish for a final 82-00-00 and a comfortable match win.

Second place on the day was awarded to Chris Standing, who drew peg 15. Chris started his match fishing maggot short before looking down his edge later on with pellet and corn to offer 59-05-00 to the scales.

Finally, finishing in third place was Lee Williams, who drew peg in-form peg 8. Lee endured a frustrating match losing a large number of fish to the pads on his left. He did, however, manage a late run of fish on pellet fished over groundbait to weigh in 30-01-00.
