Nine (9) anglers from BBAC attended their second match with us in as many days as part of the club's annual weekend stay here.
Winner on the day, and confirming his second podium finish over the course of the weekend, was Chris Standing. Chris found himself on peg 19 for day two and opted to fish maggot short and down his edge to end the match with 57-05-00.
Finishing in second place on the day was Chris Tandy, who drew peg 10 on the point of the island. Having produced the winning weight the day before, Chris fancied his chances but it seemed the fish had moved on, or pushed further out beneath the willow tree. Chris managed to find some fish down his edge on maggot to weigh in 44-03-00.
Taking the last of the mainframe positions was Anthony Southall - also his second of the weekend. Anthony drew peg 1, but struggled to get the fish in his peg to settle catching a handful of fish on a number of different baits, including maggot, worm and pellet, down his edge. Anthony ended the day with 38-14-00.
