Black Boy AC, Woodside & Island Pools

Fourteen (14) anglers from the Black Boy attended this latest club fixture held across both Woodside & Island pools.

Winner on the day was Dennis Clark, who drew peg 17 on the Island pool. Opting to fish corn and pellet down his edge, Dennis managed 77-02-00 of mainly carp to confirm a relatively comfortable victory.

Second place was awarded to John Portman, who drew peg 11, also on Island pool. Offering pellet short and down his edge, John weighed in 58-14-00 of carp to finish ahead of third placed man Steve Bagley.

Steve fished a small method feeder with groundbait offering corn on the hook from peg 14 to weigh in 42-06-00 of carp and skimmer bream.
