Brandhall Conservatives, Woodside Pool

Ten (10) anglers from Brandhall Conservatives fished this Sunday club match on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day were dry with plenty of sunshine. Fishing, however, proved difficult with angler's weights being lower than anticipated.

Winner on the day was Richard Taylor from peg 6. Opting to fish pellet and corn over to the pads on the pole, Richard found carp in numbers, but they were smaller than the normal average stamp, to weigh in 30-11-00.

Second place was taken by son James Taylor from peg 17 on the dam wall. Fishing maggot and casters down his edge, James found odd carp and quality silverfish in numbers to offer 25-06-00 to the scales.

Rounding off the top three on the day was Aaron Warren from peg 1. Starting his match fishing the feeder, Aaron found odd carp to pellet and sweetcorn before a switch to the pole later on produced some better quality fish. Aaron weighed in 22-15-00.
