Brandhall Conservatives, Woodside Pool

Eight (8) anglers from Brandhall Conservative club attended this latest match fixture held on Woodside pool.

Winner on the day was Paul Newey, who drew peg 10. Fishing pellet and corn short before looking down his edge late on, Paul found mostly carp to weigh in 48-10-00.

Second place was taken by father, Trevor Newey on peg 1. Again, pellet and corn did the damage for Trevor with the majority of his fish coming from down his inside to give him a final weight of 43-13-00.

Breathing down Trevor's neck was James Taylor on peg 11. Fishing dead red maggot over groundbait down his edge, James ended the match with 43-12-00.
