Twelve (12) anglers attended this second contest held on Woodside pool in as many days for Bryan Burley and his men. Although weights were lower than the previous day, it was yet another very close affair!
Winner on the day was Leigh Harbutt from peg 10. Opting to fish pole and pellet down his edge to the next peg, Leigh found some quality fish from the off to weigh in a winning 58-08-00.
Finishing close behind in second place for a second day running was Chris Standing from peg 8. Like Leigh, Chris concentrated on his edge line for most of the match with dead red maggot to offer 55-12-00 to the scales.
Rounding off the top three finish was Anthony Southall from peg 12. Again, maggot down the edge did the damage for Anthony, who weighed in 47-08-00 at the end of the five hours.
