A small turnout saw seven (7) anglers from CARRS AC attend their latest club match here at Woodside with anglers pegged on Island pool.
Clear winner on the day was Mark Hone, who drew renowned peg 2. Fishing maggot down his edge, Mark was able to catch small carp steadily for the duration of the match to offer a final 127-15-00 to the scales and leave the remainder of the field way behind.
Second place was awarded to Alec Southall, who drew neighbouring peg 3. Again, fishing maggot down his edge, Alec was also able to find small stockies, but not in the same numbers as Mark to end proceedings with a respectable 63-03-00.
Finishing in third place was Rob Smith, who drew peg 14 on the opposite end of the lake. Fishing a method feeder down his edge, Rob ended the match with 54-15-00.
