CARRS AC, Island Pool
A small turn-out saw just five (5) anglers attend this Saturday club match on Island pool.
Winner on the day was Bob Salley, who drew peg 15 on the point of the island. Fishing a small method over to the point, Bob was in to fish from the off and managed to catch steadily for the full five hours to weigh in 168-09-00.
Finishing in second place was Alec Southall from peg 3. Again, like Bob, Alec fished a small method feeder down his edge to weigh in an all-carp catch tipping the scales at 148-05-00.
Finishing in third place on the day from peg 9 was Graham Nelson. Graham opted to fish corn and maggot down his edge to weigh in 70-00-00.
