Matson Anglers, Island Pool

Ten (10) anglers from Matson Anglers attended this Saturday club match on Island pool.

Winner on the day was Mark Berry, who drew peg 2. Mark caught most of his fish down his inside on corn to offer 33-06-00 to the scales.

Second place was awarded to Nigel Martin from neighbouring peg 3. Again, corn down the inside accounted for most of his fish, which went 26-04-00 at the end of the five hours.

Taking the final main frame place was Cedric Booth, who drew peg 12 opposite the island. Fishing corn over fishery pellet down his margins, Cedric finished the match with 25-13-00..
