A small turn-out for Metal Closures saw just five (5) in attendance for this Sunday club fixture, which also doubled as a memorial match for former club member, Geoff Walton, who sadly passed away earlier in the year.
Winner on the day was Adam Lees, who drew peg 14 in the bay at the top end of the lake. Fishing 8mm pellet on his short line to begin with before moving down his edge late on, Adam found fish in numbers to weigh in a superb 96-07-00 to claim overall victory on the day by a comfortabe margin and, commermorate the memory of his late father-in-law in the process. Well done Adam.
Finishing in second place was Ash Davies from peg 3. Ash fished 8mm pellet down his edge for most of the match to keep a steady rate of fish coming to the net for the duration of the match to end the day with 65-13-00.
Third place was awarded to Martin Davies from peg 12 on the opposite bank. Martin caught on both 8mm pellet and paste on his short line to weigh in 62-11-00.
