Eleven (11) anglers from Metal Closures attended their latest club match on the Island pool.
Winner on the day was Adam Lees, who drew peg 13 on the far bank. Offering pellet down his edge, Adam was able to find some quality carp to end the match with 68-08-00 to win by a comfortable margin.
Second place was taken by Kim Hunter, who drew neighbouring peg 14. Most of Kim's catch came from down his edge to corn to give him a final weigh of 45-01-00.
Rounding off the top three finish was Graham Poulton, who drew peg 12. Opting to fish paste down his edge, Graham offered 36-12-00 to the scales.
