Metal Closures AC, Woodside Pool

Nine (9) anglers from Metal Closures AC attended their first of four matches here in 2025 at Woodside.

Winner on the day was Adam Lees, who drew peg 10 opposite the point of the island. Adam caught the majority of his fish down his edge on pellet to weigh in 38-14-00.

Finishing close behind in second place was Ash Davies from corner peg 6 close to the pads. Again, pellet down the edge produced most of Ash's fish giving him a final weigh of 37-03-00.

Rounding off a close top three finish on the day was Martin Davies from peg 8. Martin started his match fishing dead maggot short to put together an impressive bag of roach and rudd tipping the scales at over 14lbs before looking down his edge late on with pellet to find some better stamp fish. Martin ended the day with 31-10-00.
