Nine (9) anglers from Model AC attended this Sunday club match held on the Island pool. Conditions on the day had been forecast to be not so great with rain pretty much guaranteed by the afternoon. However, the rain persisted for most of the day with particularly heavy spells of rain at times. All in all, it was a pretty lousy day.
Winner on the day was Roy Jones, who drew peg 12 opposite the far island. Fishing 6mm hard pellet to the island over fishery 4mm feed pellet, Roy found mainly carp to weigh in 72-08-00 and confirm a relatively comfortable victory.
Second place was awarded to Gavin Powell, who drew peg 14. Starting his match on a method feeder over to the island, Gavin managed to find carp early on before switching to his edges with dead red maggot and pellet to weigh in a final 47-11-00.
Rob Sandall finished in third place from neighbouring peg 15 with 40-09-00 of carp taken on a method feeder fished down his edge with a wafter hookbait over micros.
