Model AC, Island Pool
A small turn-out again for Model AC saw just six (6) anglers in attendance for this Sunday club fixture on Island pool. Conditions on the day were generally mild with partly cloudy skies and light winds.
Winner on the day was Rob Sandall, who drew fancied peg 3. Rob started his match fishing the pellet waggler to take a few fish shallow before attacking his left hand margin with hard pellet. Rob managed to find a good number of small carp down his edge for the remainder of the match to weigh in 90-09-00 and confirm a comfortable victory.
Finishing in second place on the day was Dave Dearn from peg 7. Dave caught most of his fish on dead red maggot fished short and later down his edge to weigh in 46-01-00.
Third place was taken by Scott Moore, who drew peg 14. Fishing corn on his short line and down his edge, Scott weighed in 30-06-00 of small carp and silverfish.
