Seven (7) anglers attended this Sunday club match on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day were a lot cooler than in recent weeks with a decent ripple.
Winner on the day was Paul Smith, who drew peg 9. Paul started his match fishing out in open water towards the island to find a few carp on pellet. However, his bites dried up fast so it was all or nothing down his edge late on. Fortunately for Paul, his margins produced the goods with carp in numbers falling to pellet and paste hookbaits fished over dead red maggot. Paul ended the match with 89-05-00 to confirm a comfortable victory.
Mark Jackson finished in second place from neighbouring peg 11. Opting for an all out pellet approach, Mark found skimmers and carp to weigh in 32-09-00.
Karl Steadman took third place from peg 16 on the dam wall with 28-00-00. Karl caught small carp and skimmers on pellet and corn.
