Seven (7) anglers from Oldbury Royal British Legion attended this Sunday club match on Woodside pool.
Winner on the day was Alan Bills, who drew peg 7 in the corner by the pads. Opting to fish dead red maggot down his edge, Alan found a decent number of smaller carp with a handful of silvers to weigh in 48-08-00.
Finishing close behind in second place was brother Tim Bills. Fishing from peg 13, Tim caught most of his catch on dead reds down the edge to offer 41-00-00 to the scales.
Third placed Gary Coley drew peg 1 and fished the pellet feeder to weigh in 24-08-00 of carp and roach.
