Eight (8) anglers attended this bank holiday Monday open match held on the Island pool.
Winner on the day was Scott Rhodes, who drew peg 14 on the far bank close to the island. Opting to fish pellet up in the water over to the point of the island, Scott found carp in numbers before a look down his edge late on with worm produced some late bonus fish. Scott offered 88-09-00 to the scales to top a fought top three.
Second place on the day was taken by Steve Walsh who drew per 18. Steve caught carp short and down his edge on corn taking fish to 9lb to offer 73-10-00 to the scales and secure his second top three finish of the bank holiday weekend.
Rounding off the top three was Stan Taylor from peg 26 with a level 60lb of carp.
