Open Match, Woodside Pool

Seven (7) anglers attended this Saturday open match held on Woodside pool.

Adding another win to his tally for the year so far was Dan Hart. Dan had never drawn an island peg here at Woodside before today - that was until he pulled peg 10 out the bag. Making no mistakes, Dan served up a masterclass in shallow fishing offering a superb 176-00-00 of carp to the scales, all caught on hard 6mm pellet up in the water.

Finishing in second place was Josh Sutterby. Josh drew peg 5 in the channel close to the island and caught most of his fish from down his edges on worm and dead maggot over fishery micro pellet. Josh weighed in 69-12-00 to finish ahead of third placed Dave Bowyer.

Dave offered 51-14-00 of carp to the scales from peg 8 fishing pellet up in the water.
