Open Match, Woodside Pool

Eleven (11) anglers attended this latest Saturday open match held on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day were far from ideal with bright sunshine after a cold start.

Winner on the day was Lee Caffrey from peg 19. Opting to fish dead reds down his edge late on in search of some bonus edge fish after a pretty uneventful main part of his match, Lee found odd carp to weigh in 26-14-00 to sneak a narrow victory.

Close behind in second place was Steve Squire from peg 11 with 26-03-00.

Third on the day was Stan Taylor with 19-09-00 from peg 21.
