Thirteen (13) anglers from Parkes Hall attended this Sunday club match on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day were an improvement on the Saturday except for a single torrential downpour not long into the match.
Finishing in first place was Stephen Worton, who drew fancied peg 10 on the far point of the island. Opting to fish dead red maggots down his edge for most of the match, Stephen found good-sized fish in number - the largest of which tipping the scales at 14lb - to weigh in a final 112-14-00.
Next best man on the day was Craig Westwood from peg 6. Again, concentrating on his edges offering corn on the hook over fishery pellet, Craig caught mostly carp as well as skimmer bream and quality roach to end the match with 59-10-00.
Rounding off the top three on the day was Paul Lawrence from peg 12. Opting to fish pellet down his edge, Paul weighed in 53-00-00 of carp.
