Phoenix AC, Woodside Pool

Eight (8) anglers from Phoenix AC attended this penultimate club match on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day were cold and very wet.

Winner on the day was Gary Malpass, who drew peg 19 on the dam wall. Starting his match fishing corn short at 4m, Gary found some good quality fish early on. Later on Gary switched to his margin with dead red maggot to find more quality fish to weigh in an impressive 64-03-00 on a miserable day.

Second place went to Jay Meakin, who drew peg 1. Fishing corn down his edge over fishery feed pellet Jay found mainly carp with a handful of roach and skimmer bream to weigh in 49-05-00.

Becky Davies finished in third place from peg 17. Fishing corn short for most of the match on the dam wall, Becky found mainly carp to weigh in 37-01-00.
