Pole Pushers AC, Island Pool

Nine (9) anglers from Pole Pushers AC attended this Sunday club match on the Island pool. Fishing on the day was expected to be hard after prolonged heavy rainfall the day and night before the match.

Winner on the day was Terry Eardley from peg 16. Opting to fish pellet down his edge, Terry found small carp in numbers to weigh in a level 36lbs.

Runner-up spot was taken by Martin McHugh from peg 27. Starting on the pellet feeder over to the island, Martin was able to find odd fish patrolling the far edge before a switch to his margins with dead maggot late on produced a few bonus edge fish to around 12lbs. Martin weighed in 22-02-00.

Third place went to Dan Podmore from peg 19. Dan was biteless after the first three hours of the match but managed to sneak a few fish late on to both the method feeder and maggot down his edge to weigh in 16-08-00.
