A smaller than expected turnout saw just six (6) anglers attend this club match for Pole Pushers on the Island pool.
Winner on the day was Terry Eardley, who drew peg 7. Starting his match on 6mm pellet fished on the feeder, Terry found a few early carp, but very quickly lost his fish. A final surge late on with dead red maggot down his edge produced a few more carp as well as some big roach for a final weight of 32-06-00.
Finishing just 6oz behind in second place was Paul Jinks. Paul drew peg 2 and caught most of his fish on 6mm pellet long down his edge to weigh in 32-00-00.
Rounding off the top three finish on the day was Martin McHugh from peg 14. Again, dead red maggot accounted for most of his fish ending the day with 27-04-00.
