Nine (9) anglers from Portway AC attended this latest club match on Woodside pool.
Winner on the day was Kyle Smith, who drew peg 10. Starting his match short, Kyle fished corn over fishery feed pellet short at top two plus two to find small carp before having to chase the fish out to the point of the island at 14.5m. Kyle caught late tight to the island with pellet to finish the day with 47-00-00.
Second place on the day was Colin Rides from peg 21. Opting to fish corn in the margins for most of the match, Colin found small carp and silvers to offer 24-00-00 to the scales.
Rounding off the top three finish was Bob Bedder, who drew peg 12. Fishing both corn and maggot hook baits out in open water, Bob finished the match with a 22-00-00 mixed bag.
