Nine (9) anglers from Quarry Bank Labour attended this Sunday club match on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day, for the most part, felt quite cool with plenty of cloud cover and persistent drizzle.

Topping a pretty miserable day weather-wise was Ryan Tipper from peg 12. Fishing corn over fishery micro pellets long down his left hand edge, Ryan found mainly carp during the second half of the match to weigh in 56-03-00.

Finishing close behind in second place was Chris Pearson, who drew peg 19. Starting his match on corn over fishery micro pellets, Chris found carp and silvers before switching to his edges late on with groundbait to offer a final 53-06-00 to the scales.

Completing the top three finish on the day was Les Jones on end peg 22. Fishing maggot and expanders down his left hand edge to the stick ups, Les managed mainly carp to confirm 44-13-00.
