Rhea Hall AC, Woodside Pool

Fifteen (15) anglers from Rhea Hall attended this Saturday club match on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day were not ideal with a band of high pressure moving in making for difficult fishing on the day.

Winner on the day was local rod Dave Male who drew peg 19. Opting to fish pellet on the pole over to the island, Dave was able to find carp in numbers, but of a much smaller than usual average stamp. Dave ended the match with 29-08-00 to win by a narrow margin.

Finishing close behind in second place was Rob Male from peg 27. Catching most of his fish down the edge on dead maggot, Rob offered 28-05-00 to the scales to finish just ahead of third placed Fred Jones.

Fred fished the method feeder offering pellet on the hook from peg 18 to weigh in 26-09-00 of carp.
