A small turn out saw nine (9) anglers from new club Rubery Memorial in attendance on their first match here at Woodside.
Winner on the day was Stewart De Grey, who drew peg 3 close to the point of the island. Opting to fish worm over dead maggot down his edge, Stewart found some good-sized fish to weigh in 75-05-00 of mainly carp to confirm a comfortable victory.
Second place on the day was secured by Mitch Wrenn from peg 16 on the dam wall. Mitch also opted to fish worm over dead maggot down his edges to offer 44-03-00 of carp to the scales.
Third place was Ted Heath from peg 5. Offering corn over to the island on the pole, Ted finished the day with 33-09-00.
