Twelve (12) anglers from the newly reformed Ryan Green AC attended this Sunday club match on Island pool. Conditions on the day were not ideal with high air pressure, bright sunshine and a distinct lack of ripple all contributing to a difficult days fishing.
Winner on a tough day was Adam Sewell from peg 8 on the dam wall. Fishing dead maggot down his edge, Adam found carp to 15lb to weigh in a decent 40-08-00 from an unfancied peg.
Second place was taken by Mark Wood from peg 26. Opting to alternate between red maggot and pellet short, he was able to find mainly carp to weigh in 34-12-00.
Third place on the day was Adrian Green from peg 18. Fishing pole and pellet across to the point of the island, he found small carp in numbers to weigh in 33-14-00.
