Salt Marsh AC, Woodside Pool

Ten (10) anglers from Salt Marsh AC attended this Saturday club match on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day produced a pleasant early summer day with partly to mostly cloudy skies, no rain forecast, and cool, breezy conditions. Temperatures reached a mild high of around 20°C.

Winner on the day was Darren Harris, who drew peg 10 on the point of the island. Darren started his match fishing maggot and worm on the long pole at 13m before coming down his edge late on, again offering maggot and worm hookbaits, to end the day with 40-05-00.

Finishing in second place was Tony Davis, who drew peg 4. Opting to fish the feeder tight to the island, Tony managed to weigh in 29-04-00 of mostly carp.

Finishing close behind in third place was Wayne Mexsom from peg 8. Concentrating on both his short and edge lines offering both 6mm pellet and maggot, Wayne offered 21-08-00 to the scales.
