Salt Marsh AC, Woodside Pool

Thirteen (13) anglers from Salt Marsh attended this Saturday club match held on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day were generally mild with a mix of sunny intervals and partly cloudy skies with an outside chace of rain forecast.

Winner on a tough day was Rick Skinner, who drew peg 4 close to the point of the island. Fishing a method feeder to the point, Rick managed to find a handful to good-sized carp to weigh in 35-01-00.

Finishing in second place was Harvey Jacks, who drew peg 16 on the opposite bank. Opting to fish paste on the pole both short and down his edges gave him a final weight of 26-07-00.

Rounding off a poor top three finish was Tony Davis from peg 11. Alternating between maggot and pellet hookbaits on the feeder, Tony managed just 17-12-00.
