The Black Boy AC, Island Pool

A good turnout for the Black Boy saw thirteen (13) anglers line the banks of Island pool.

Winner on the day was Kieran Probert, who drew peg 17. Fishing pellet down his edge for most of the match, Kieran found small carp in numbers to weigh in 115-12-00 to take the match out with relative ease.

Finishing in second place was George Yeomans, who drew peg 2. Alternating between worm, maggot and corn hookbaits down his edge, George found mainly carp to weigh in 52-02-00.

Third place on the day was taken by Dave Crosby from peg 11 close to the point of the island with 38-13-00.
