The Bridge AC, Island Pool

Eleven (11) anglers from The Bridge AC fished this Sunday club contest on the Island pool.

Winner on the day was Robin Shaw from peg 12 opposite the island. Robin had an eventful day fishing soft hook pellet over fishery micro pellet short and, later, down his right hand edge to end the match with 60-08-00. Robin's winning weight would've no doubt been higher but an emergency dip in the pool to recover a top kit put pay to that! Still, Robin managed a comfortable win finishing well clear of the remainder of the field.

Second place was awarded to Mark Newman from peg 17. Fishing maggot and corn over to the island saw him finish with 35-02-00 of small carp. Mark arguably could've won the match from his draw, but simply lost too many fish.

Third place went to Dave Wyatt from peg 8. Dave caught most of his fish short to begin with and then down his edge later on with maggot and corn on the hook to weigh in 24-01-00.
