The Danglers AC, Woodside Pool

Nine (9) anglers braved a very cold start to this Sunday club match hosted on Woodside pool.

Winner on the day was Mykie Pollard, who drew peg 10 on the point of the island opposite the willow tree. Mykie started his match catching carp long over to the island on the 14.5m pole with 6mm pellet over fishery micros before the action dried up for him. Turning his attention to his short line, he later caught some decent fish on corn over pellet to end the match with 41-07-00.

Finishing close behind in second place was Will Harris from peg 16. Will started his match catching on 6mm pellet over micros before looking down his edge later with worm over fishery micros to end the day with 38-04-00 on the scales.

Third placed Andy Smith finished with 36-09-00 from peg 13 catching mainly carp on worm and dead red maggot down his edge.
