Twenty (20) anglers from TREK AC attended this Sunday club match spread across both Woodside and Island pools. Conditions in the week leading up to the match had been awful with more torrential rain.
Topping the field on the day was Chris Hall, who drew unfancied peg 1 on Woodside pool. Fishing pole and pellet short for the full five hours, Chris found some quality fish to around 10lbs to weigh in a final 90-00-00 of mainly carp with a handful of quality silvers.
Finishing in second place was Terry Finn, who drew peg 26 on the Island pool. Fishing corn over fishery feed pellet, Terry caught quality skimmer and roach before sorting his edges out late on to find some quality carp to end with 63-08-00.
Rounding off the top three finish on the day was Colin Nock, who drew peg 18. Again, most of Colin's catch came from down his edge with some late bonus carp boosting his final weight to offer 53-08-00 to the scales.
