Wheatsheaf AC, Woodside Pool

Ten (10) anglers from Wheatsheaf AC attended this Saturday club match held on Woodside pool.

Topping a competitive field on the day was Phil Phillips, who drew peg 11 just off the point of the island. Fishing expanders down his edge, Phil found mostly carp to end the day with 56-02-00.

Finishing close behind in second place was Terry Billingham fishing from corner peg 6. Again, like Phil, Terry opted to fish expanders down his edge to weigh in 52-15-00 of carp.

Rounding off a close top three finish on the day was Dave Lewis from peg 1. Offering worm over dead maggot down his edge, Dave found some quality fish late on to weigh in 51-13-00.
