Eleven (11) anglers attended this Sunday club match held on Woodside pool fished from 8am until 1pm. The slightly earlier times didn't appear to affect the fishing as expected with all anglers catching a great average stamp of fish. Conditions on the day were not as sunny as the Saturday with a strong wind making things a little cooler.
Winner on the day was Richard Taylor, who drew peg 3. Opting to fish dead maggot down his edges, Richard found a superb stamp of fish including three double-figure specimens to end the day with 78-05-00 of carp.
Second place was awarded to Paul Brookes on opposite peg 18. Paul opted to fish live maggot down his edge to catch roach, perch and skimmers as well as some good-sized carp to offer 55-09-00 to the scales.
Third place on the day was confirmed by Mark Wilson on peg 1. Fishing expanders short, Mark found a handful of skimmers as well as some good quality carp to weigh in 54-02-00.
