Ten (10) anglers from Wolverley AC attended this Sunday club match on Woodside pool, which fished 9am - 2pm.
Winner on the day was Luke Taylor, who drew peg 13 over in the far corner by where the Norfolk reed used to be. Fishing both paste and casters down his edge, Luke ended the match with 69-02-00 of mainly carp to confirm a comfortable win.
Second place was awarded to Paul Brookes, who drew peg 16 on the dam wall. Concentrating on his edge for the most part of the match with maggot, Paul weighed in a double-figure catch of quality roach and skimmers, plus half a dozen carp, to put 46-11-00 on the scales.
Third place on the day was taken by Scott Garrington from peg 10. Alternating between maggot and pellet hookbaits on both the short and long pole, Scott finished the day with 30-08-00.
