Eleven anglers from Wolverley AC attended this Sunday club match held on Woodside pool.
Winner on the day was Paul Brookes, who drew peg 8 close to the island. Opting to fish a simple match, Paul fished maggot down his edge whilst feeding casters over the top to find some quality fish to weigh in a level 69-00-00 and win the match by a comfortable margin.
Finishing in second place was Luke Taylor from peg 22. Fishing paste down his edge, Luke managed some decent fish to weigh in 42-03-00. By his own admission, his peg was worth a lot more with lots of cruising fish in front of him all day. However, try as he might, he could not tempt them to taking his caster hookbait.
Rounding off the top three finish was Mark Wilson from peg 12. Again, most of Mark's fish came from down his edge on expanders giving him a final 28-03-00.
