The Black Boy AC, Woodside & Island Pools
Fifteen (15) anglers from The Black Boy fished their second of two fixtures here this year at Woodside. Anglers were pegged across both match lakes with overall standings being decided across the venue as a whole. Winner on the day was Craig Yeomans, who drew peg 13 on Woodside pool. Winter League RD1, Woodside Pool
Ten (10) anglers attended the first round of this year's winter league series. With numbers being a little down on last year (13 fished in 2024), anglers were pegged across one lake with round one taking place on Woodside pool. This year's campaign follows the same format as last year's with carp also being included in angler's weights and cumulative points deciding final placings. The Bridge AC, Island Pool
Eleven (11) anglers from The Bridge AC fished this Sunday club contest on the Island pool. Winner on the day was Robin Shaw from peg 12 opposite the island. Robin had an eventful day fishing soft hook pellet over fishery micro pellet short and, later, down his right hand edge to end the match with 60-08-00.
