Conditions on the day were a lot cooler with temperatures just creeping into the low twenties by mid-afternoon after a heavy downpour during the small hours of the morning. Twelve (12) anglers attended this Saturday club match held on Island pool. Conditions on the day saw a mixture of sunny intervals and a moderate westerly breeze with an afternoon high of 24°C. Midlands Air Ambulance Fundraiser, Woodside & Island Pools
A full house saw twenty (20) anglers attend this year's annual fundraiser event for the Midland Air Ambulance. The event, which is now into its tenth year, never fails to attract a good attendance and often sees a decent amount of money raised for a very worthwhile cause. Conditions for this year's event were ideal with tempatures taking a noticeable and very welcome tumble. A small turnout saw just four (4) anglers from Metal Closures attend their latest Sunday contest here at Woodside. Conditions on the day were still very warm, but noticeably cooler despite a complete lack of cloud cover with the afternoon high reaching around 24 degrees. Conditions on the day saw a continuation of hot weather with prolonged periods of sunshine seeing temperatures reach an afternoon high of approximately 28°C.
