Twelve anglers from Unity House fished this Sunday club match on in-form Woodside pool. Although weights were not as high as expected on the day, there was very little separating the top three anglers.
Winner on the day was Ken Waters, who drew peg 14 on the dam wall. Opting to fish corn short at 8m for the duration of the match, Ken found mainly carp to offer 59-09-00 to the scales.
Finishing close behind in runner-up spot was taken by Paul Davis on peg 2. Again, fishing corn down in the margins, Paul found carp late on willing to feed to weigh in 53-13-00.
Third place was Wayne Richardson, who drew peg 10 on the point of the island. Fishing pellet short at top two plus two, Wayne ended the match with 51-04-00.
Paul Siniarski finished in fourth place weighing in 39-01-00 of small carp taken on meat over pellet both short at 5m and in the margins.
