Ten anglers from Metal Closures lined the banks of Woodside pool for this Sunday match.
Winner on the day was Vaughn Graham, who drew peg 10 close to the point of the island. Opting to fish 6mm pellet up in the water for the duration of the match on the pellet waggler, Vaughn found carp of various sizes willing to feed finishing proceedings with 102-07-00.
Denis Whitehouse finished in second place from peg 15 on the dam wall. Offering red meat on the hook at top two plus two, Denis weighed in 72-02-00 at the end of the five hours.
Third place on the day was taken by Kim Hunter. Kim drew unfancied peg 1 and didn't find the fish until late down his inside. Offering meat on the hook, Kim managed a level 48lbs to finish just ahead of fourth placed, Steve Hilton.
Steve drew peg 17 on the dam wall and started his match fishing the bomb before turning to his margins late on to boost his catch. Steve ended the match with 42lbs exactly.
