Proline AC, Woodside Pool

Eleven anglers from Proline AC turned out for this Saturday club match on Woodside pool.

Winner on the day was Mark Fox, who drew peg 16 on the dam wall. Opting to fish soft hook pellet for most of the match short at just top two plus two, Mark found carp in numbers to weigh in 82-02-00.

Finishing in second place was Alf Bates on unfancied peg 1. Fishing pole and pellet long at 13m, Alf found odd carp and silverfish before a switch to his margins late on produced better quality fish to corn for a final weigh of 67-05-00.

Simon Bates finished in third place with 55-01-00. Simon caught most of his fish short to pole and soft hook pellet from peg 8.

Finishing in fourth place was Bill Drew from in-form peg 3. Fishing pole and pellet to depth at 13m towards the island, Bill found mostly carp to offer 44-14-00 to the scales.
